Effect of Laser Beam Acupuncture at the Baek Hoe(GV.20) on the Blood Pressure in Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats

Abstract
|

|
This study was undertaken to investigate the effect of Laser beam acupuncture at the GV.20 on the blood pressure in Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats and Sprague Dawleys.
The obtained results are summarized as follows;
1. In SHR, the systolic blood pressure decreased significantly by Laser beam acupuncture at the GV. 20 through all experimental period.
2. In Sprague Dawleys, the systolic blood pressure was not changed by Laser beam acupuncture at the GV.20 through all experimental period.
As the results of this experiment, it is considered that Laser beam acupuncture at the GV.20 can be used effectively in treatment of hyper tension.
